You’re here because you’ve started seeing your nose hair popping out of your nostrils and you’re looking for the best nose hair trimmer to get rid of them.

We all have hairs in our nose and ears that protect us from dirt particles and germs to enter inside our bodies. But as we men age those hairs start to grow longer and pop out of the nostrils and ears and believe me it really doesn’t look attractive at all.

The only way to get rid of your nose and ears hair is by trimming them and this task is not as easy and simple as it sounds.

You may use a scissor or tweezer to get rid of your nose hair only if you like taking risk of inserting the pointed scissor inside the nostrils to cut the nose hair. Keeping in mind that the inside area of your nose is quite sensitive and you definitely don’t want to damage it.

It’s also not very healthy to pluck your nostril hair with a tweezer because the germs can enter those hair follicles and can cause infection. This can be very dangerous and is also life-threatening.

You must always go for a tool that is specially designed for trimming those nose hair. Selecting the right nose hair trimmer can make your life a lot easier and save you a lot of time as well.

How to Select The Best Ear and Best Nose Hair Trimmer For Men?

Let’s have a look at the important factors that are necessary before selecting the best nose hair trimmer that can easily trim your ear hair as well.

1. Power Type: Battery or Manual

If you’re looking to buy a nose hair trimmer that is rechargeable, then there’s a bad news for you because most of the best nose hair trimmer that we have reviewed in this buying guide is powered by an AA battery.

To be very honest, there are very few rechargeable nose hair trimmers that are available. The manufacturers believe that it’s not cost-effective to add the rechargeable feature in a nose trimmer mainly because of their low price.

You may also buy some alkaline rechargeable batteries with a charger that will save you from buying extra packs of AA batteries.

2. The Motor Power of the Nose Trimmer

The motor power depends on your requirement. The motor power of the normal nose trimmer that has rotary blades works well if you have thin hair.

If your nose hairs are thicker and in large number, you need to go for a powerful motor like the one that is equipped inside the beard trimmer. This type is best if you have a regular use but if you don’t trim your nose hair very often, then you may go for a rotary blade nose hair trimmer having normal motor power.

3. Traveling Pouch

If you travel a lot whether it is for business purpose or you love traveling, you would need to carry your ear and nose trimmer along with you. Therefore, it is best to seek a nose hair trimmer that comes with a travel pouch. The pouch must have enough room for both trimmer and the battery.

Not every nose trimmer comes with a traveling pouch, however, it’s an important feature that’s quite useful.

4. Price of Nose Hair Trimmer

Pricing also plays a vital role when it comes to select the best nose hair trimmer, you certainly should stay somewhere in the middle while choosing the nose trimmer. The expensive ones are really good with some great features but you should avoid selecting the cheap nose trimmer.

You should always go for a nose hair trimmer that is medium priced. Since they come with good features and perform well without making any dent in your wallet.

  1. “Replacement blades are of the same price as the trimmer itself”. Why would a nose hair trimmer need replacing of the blade? It’s not like you have a forrest of hair inside the nose.

    • Hi Alex, thanks for the comment, I believe that you’re talking about Panasonic ER-GN30-K which is both nose and ear hair trimmer, as we age, we grow more hair in the nose as well in the ear, therefore, some people use it more often which can cause the blade to become dull but if you don’t use it quite often, then it is possible that the blades may last longer.

It’s right that both the replacement blade and the Panasonic ER-GN30-K Nose Hair trimmer are of the same price and I would suggest that if the blade becomes dull or if it is damaged, then it’s better to buy a new trimmer instead of buying a replacement blade.
